Balinese Dance Competition
As part of Kuta Karnival 2008, Surfer Girl together with Coca Cola, supported a traditional Balinese Dance Competition, which was also part of Surfer Girl’s new program “Surfer Girl Tresna Bali” or Surfer Girl Loves Bali. The competition took place on October 19th at the Balawista Corner in Kuta, just after the opening ceremony of Kuta Karnvial.
More than 40 dancers joined the competition from all over Bali. The dancers looked beautiful in traditional Balinese dance costume, and performed dances such as Jauk and Puspanjali. To add even more fun on the beach, Surfer Girl and Coca Cola fashion shows filled the stage after the dance performances. The crowd cheered on the event, and seemed to love this traditional and unique side of Kuta Karnival.
