February 5th 2009: In Fun we Trust

The skies were blue and the weather looked promising as the
entire Surfer Girl family descended on the ‘Kerthalangu Cultural Village' in Tohpati. An early 7am kick off wasn't enough to dampen spirits as the Surfer Girl crew launched straight into what was shaping up to be an anniversary to remember. After splitting into cross-department teams allocated by the anniversary committee it was time for the real fun and games to begin. With each of the teams named in honor of the Surfer Girl stores throughout Indonesia and an action packed day of activities inspired by the famous reality TV show ‘The Amazing Race' it wasn't long before a totally fun and competitive atmosphere settled in.

Once the all the teams had completed the allocated tasks it was time for the committee to finalize the results while the main entertainment for the event began. There were special performances by some of the super talented members of the Surfer Girl family as well as some highly amusing competitions, the highlight being the ‘dancing King and Queen' competition. In the end it was Surfer Girl Nusa Dua team that took first place followed closely by La Piazza coming in second and BRC Nusa Dua third.

The day came to a close as all good parties should, with cake, great food, singing and dancing.
A truly spectacular staff party for a genuinely extraordinary group of people.
